Use standard time all聽year long

Ban drunk driver for聽life

Government not dictating to BCUC

Winter sunrise would聽be at 9 a.m.

Re: 鈥渟a国际传媒 might ditch time change,鈥 March 8. With regard to permanent daylight time, I Googled what the sunrise times would be for us in winter. I found that in Victoria on Jan. 1, 2020, sunrise would be at 9:05 a.m.

Building ferries abroad not sensible Re: 鈥淏uilding ferries overseas maintains low fares: CEO,鈥 March 7. Even if the federal government continues to turn a blind eye to import duties, building new ferries abroad makes no sense.

Employees should not be punished

There has been considerable questioning of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and former principal secretary Gerald Butts鈥 recent assertion that 鈥渢housands鈥 of jobs are at stake if SNC-Lavalin is criminally prosecuted.

Airport doesn鈥檛 help public safety
