Do the right thing and rescind rent increase

Re: 鈥淭enants face 4.5% rent increase 鈥 biggest hike since 2004,鈥 Sept. 9. I am disgusted to discover that our provincial government has authorized a rent increase of 4.5 per cent for 2019.

New bridge walkway was slippery in rain

My wife and I enjoyed a walk in the showers Sunday, and decided to cross the new bridge walkway into town. We encountered the 鈥渕ay be slippery when wet鈥 sign. No kidding! It seemed like ice.
