I read with quiet concern the news that the government is mandating zero-emission vehicles (electric cars) for our future.

In all the rhetoric about climate change, there is one huge piece missing: population. Our planet is suffering from overpopulation, greed and exploitation of its resources.

Re: 鈥淏ase immigration decisions on merit,鈥� letter, April 12. The writer of the letter clearly shows how ignorant many Canadians are about our own immigration system. This might be the root cause of some of the anti-immigration rhetoric out there.

The sa国际传媒 government鈥檚 recently announced crackdown on illegal cannabis retailers is ill-advised, to say the least.

While watching the indescribable reports of the Notre Dame fire, I am amazed about the reporting, which talks about the great loss for Catholics.
