I have been a resident of the Capital Regional District for just over three years and have always puzzled at the proliferation of governments to run municipal affairs.

Does anyone share with me a sense of sadness that in the sa国际传媒 of 2018 we celebrate the legalization of pot as a major domestic policy victory? Has our country become so inconsequential and frivolous? David B. Collins Victoria

We live in individualistic times: 鈥淚f there鈥檚 a will, there鈥檚 a way.鈥� In this mindset, if you鈥檙e homeless, it鈥檚 because you鈥檙e not trying hard enough. None of us starts with a blank slate.

I and my family have camped for years, sometimes in provincial campsites, sometimes in minimal forest-service campsites and sometimes just in the bush.
