Horgan order favours mind control

Re: 鈥淣DP鈥檚 draft gag order could limit public dissent on party positions,鈥 Oct. 16. In my freely expressed opinion, Premier John Horgan has always seemed the type to favour the dystopian political mind control displayed in George Orwell鈥檚 book 1984.

We cannot have 鈥榩roportional people鈥

The interest in proportional representation confuses me. Currently, we elect individual people. There are 87 seats in the sa国际传媒 legislature, and in each riding, the candidate with the most votes gets a seat to represent that defined region.

Report destroys pipeline economics

Re: 鈥淩eport warns of catastrophic global warming,鈥 Oct. 9. Doesn鈥檛 last week鈥檚 2050 UN climate report destroy the long-term market economics for both the Kitimat LNG pipeline/ refinery, and the Trans Mountain expansion pipeline/terminal? I think so.

MP鈥檚 climate speech deserved front page

I searched the sa国际传媒 for coverage of the emergency debate on climate change in the House of Commons. It was missing in action. In my opinion, federal Green Party Leader Elizabeth May鈥檚 impassioned speech deserved the front page.

Stop glorifying users聽of legal pot
