A sad message from the homeless camp

The picture on the Comment page on Sept. 16 showing the tent city being demolished was very poignant. A lone plant sitting in a plastic urn sends a sad message.

Don鈥檛 minimize effects of smoke on the heart I was dismayed to read the incomplete information about wildfire smoke in recent sa国际传媒 articles. Many heart and stroke diseases precede lung issues among the deleterious effects of smoke.

Use cameras to catch school-bus scofflaws

Many jurisdictions in North America use stop-arm video cameras to monitor violations of school-bus regulations. British Columbia does not.
