Vote and earn the聽right to moan

Every municipal election, I read the sa国际传媒鈥檚 bios on the candidates for my area and pick the new candidates who have never served before. That鈥檚 who I vote for.

Part-time residents drive up prices

Re: 鈥淪peculation tax is unfair to owners,鈥 letter, Sept. 19. I believe the writer who declares she is a part-time resident is missing the point. She describes what she believes she adds to the community, but does not address what she takes away.

Beware the slate running in Saanich

I hope Saanich voters notice that Mayor Richard Atwell and four others are running for Saanich council as a slate, purporting to be 鈥淯nited for Saanich.

Homeless people need our collective support

Another recurring candidate in elections

Traveller takes umbrage at rantings

Letter-writer shows determination
