Re: 鈥淨uiet Canadian diplomacy aided anti-Maduro effort,鈥 Jan. 27. sa国际传媒 used to be known as a country that was fair and independent, with a focus on peace. The May 2018 presidential election in Venezuela was called for by the opposition.

One clear loser: Not聽the sa国际传媒 Greens Re: 鈥淥ne clear loser in key vote: Weaver鈥檚 sa国际传媒 Greens,鈥 column, Jan.聽31. Let鈥檚 be very clear, neither NDP nor Green voters wanted the sa国际传媒 Liberals to win the byelection in Nanaimo.

Support negotiations, not regime change

Cost of floating boat seems expensive

Re: 鈥淟ast chapter in tale of an abandoned boat,鈥 Jan. 26. The caption underneath the photo stated that 17 boats were loaded onto floats and towed away. The contract being $404,350, this works out to $23,785.29 per boat, which seems a lot.
