Too little detail for rational decision

Re: 鈥淧R opponents are fear-mongering,鈥 鈥淓lectoral reform will empower voters,鈥 letters, Oct. 25. I have just read in detail Elections sa国际传媒鈥檚 voter鈥檚 guide on electoral reform.

Vote no on Brexit-style mess

This electoral-reform referendum reminds me of a previous vote that was based on grand visions and ideology but had no sensible plans on how to implement it: Brexit.

PR another step in聽right direction

It is understandable that many people are fearful of changing our voting system. Changing long-standing traditions always makes some nervous. It was the same when the king gave up some power to the lords.

The commentary by the Independent Contractors and Business Association failed to mention the association donated more than $440,000 to the sa国际传媒 Liberal party between 2005 and 2016. Wow! Hardly an independent group, then.

With the sa国际传媒 referendum on electoral reform now underway, it鈥檚 concerning to see the negative, fear-mongering rhetoric of those opposed to implementing a fairer system of elections for sa国际传媒

Don鈥檛 vote for any of聽the PR options

Folks who intend to vote in favour of retaining the first-past-the-post system should carefully consider not voting at all for the three proportional-representation choices.
